I was up at Big Bear for a Sunday run with a group from MJR and decided to check out the trail, and especially the “Rock Garden”.
A small MJR group started the day with breakfast in Big Bear. We discussed our plan for the day and headed out to the trail.
On Saturday morning, April 29, the weatherman said that the marine layer had moved into the L.A. Basin, and it was a typical overcast June gloom type day. The news anchor quickly remarked that he couldn’t call it “June gloom� because it’s only April!
