Has anyone used the BamBar on a ford nine inch rear axle?
I was thinking of how to attach it. Maybe a plate attaching to the top 5 or 6 pumpkin mounting bolts?
CJ7 9 inch rotated up, SOA YJ spring plus a long leaf.
or a box shape welded to the top of the axle housing and not mess with the pumkin? Truss it of to the axle tubes?

anyone use a bambar at all? What SOA spring wrap control do you use?

Not a lot of us with leaf-springs on this site anymore. I have a spring-under set up, but I am using a traction bar for M.O.R.E. I pretty happy with the setup.........
Mine is the classic ladder style. It is attached to some tabs i welded to the passenger side axle tube. That bambar setup looks really good. I think I would truss over the diff and attach it that way.

I thought about the latter bar setup, but i read bad things about it. If fact I have a MORE bar I purchased from someone that did not use it. Leaf springs are cool, I had a set of three inch or so springs on the CJ, the previous owner installed them. The height of the jeep was ok, but you needed a kidney belt for driving on the street. They did not flex well at all.
The SOA has a lot of wheel hop, but it rides much nicer.
Thanks for the reply.

you have any pics? what did you use for a cross member?
I don't have any pics, I might be able to get one here in few days. We still a hundred or so inches of snow in the ground here. I am working on digging out the jeep to install the bumper I am building. I used a piece of 1/4 wall 4"x2" box tube welded to the frame rails for the cross member. It was a little over kill but, I figured it would stiffen the frame some.
