The top black paint on my daylighters is fading and looks really bad. It's not even shiny anymore, just dull and white-ish. Anyone else have this problem? They're about a year old!

could have something to do with the fact that you live in the desert.:) I'd recomend repainting them.:8

i thought about that, but rick's are fine! can you just take a can of spraypaint to those?

Repainting them should be fine. But check the lights first. Do they get hot when they're on? If so, you may want to use a heat resistant spraypaint to avoid peeling or even a possible fire hazard. Otherwise, with the proper paint, there shouldn't be a problem.

Look for a paint the is UV resistant or something, that will help with the fading.
