Note: The new fee structure is posted on the California State Parks website, http://www.parks.ca.gov, under Reservations and Fees.

With camping rates like these...you might as well pop a hotel room.

I know I'll get blasted for this but what the heck. Arnold is only doing this to straighten out Gray Davis' mess! At least, you know it's there unlike the car taxes which we didn't know that Gray Davis was going to do it until YOU received the bill.

Okay, now I'm ready for the whipping! :D

Actually Wilson brought in the car tax, which only kicks in at a certain point, Davis just got stuck with it.

Either way...the budget is a mess...and we can all thank Enron.

I voted for Arnie. So far I think he's doing a FANTASTIC job. I would rather pay more to get into a park than paying 300% on car taxes! That's not a joke!

Of course, this is only MY opinion and everyone IS entitled to theirs.

Well said Sandy! Some people would whine and gripe no matter what was proposed. The fact of the matter is that the money to fix what that thieving bastard Davis screwed-up has to come from somewhere (I would love to know just how much of a kick-back he got from Edison in exchange for his efforts in creating our states "energy shortage"). I would rather pay a little more to camp three or four times a year, than pay a massive hike in my vehicle registration fees (I have three vehicles)...
