I will be in the San Diego area and looking to try out Bronco Peak again (when dry) or similar. Trail is mostly moderate with only one part difficult.

rat patrol 08-12-08, 10:22 PM Sergio,
I may be around for this one. Andrew may have his new and improved CJ ready for a break in run, and Bronco would be perfect. Looking forward to it. I'll bring my brake lines :)
i have extra brake lines and pitman arm. i also put some wheel spacers to help the brake lines from rubbing on the tire when flexing.
dirtman13 08-13-08, 08:15 AM Sergio, If my Jeep is done I might join you. Haven't done this one yet.
Malachi 08-29-08, 09:16 AM Hi Sergio!
What time did you want everyone to meet? And I am assuming that everyone will meet at Four Corners?
Sharon and I are talking about going down to Corral Cyn on Friday night and camping. Don't know for sure if we are going yet, but most likely we will be there (which means that it will probably rain ).
miguelitojeep97 08-29-08, 11:26 AM hey guys Ill be heading down to SD soon.
I have been working day and night for the last two weeks repairing my jeep. If I get the brakes fixed today and actually make it down to SD I might be in for this run!!!! This might a good break in trail.... wait I shouldnt say break... warm up run. yea there we go. Ill keep you guys posted!
*EDIT So just got my brakes working again! So I am definitely ready to test out my new: control arm bushing, upper control arm/trac bar bracket, new rear shocks and sway bar bushings. Hopefully I wont have to test out the new gussets on my cage.
I also through a spair pitman arm in the jeep just in case. no spare brake lines yet

Umm.. Tuesday? You might want to flip your calendar to September. 9/6 is a Saturday. I hope that you can still go!

No surprise really. You told me that the trail is really dusty when it is dry. Thanks for churning it up good for us. I hope that you can come along on Saturday too.
barney1 09-01-08, 08:21 AM oh ,i thought i seen tuesday some where in the post , i still might be in for SATURDAY !!
I’m going to have to cancel my trip. We had a big storm in phoenix last week and it caused havoc on my power steering. It does not help that I have hydro boost brakes and it depends on the power steering for braking power. With the work schedule this week I don’t think I will be able to get it fixed in time. Better safe than sorry.
Malachi 09-01-08, 04:07 PM Sergio, sorry to hear about the brake problems. Let me know the next time that you want to run this trail. I'll try to make it if I can.

Postpone does sound better. Got to get ready for the hammers in a couple of weeks.
miguelitojeep97 09-03-08, 12:28 PM so is this run officially off?
lame... I guess ill have to test my junk in JV then...
Does anyone one else want to lead this trip? I was thinking that this would be a fun one. I've never been there....not even sure where "there" actually is :-)
miguelitojeep97 09-03-08, 03:29 PM I would, but I cant commit just yet. If I dont have to work on Sat. I will gladly lead a group up or down Bronco Peak.
-Going up bronco will be tough. rear locker and 33s would make it a nice day.

That sounds great. I'm looking for something more challenging than John Bull. I'm fully locked on 35's.
Mtbikbob 09-03-08, 05:54 PM Hmmm, sounds like a challenge. Me on 33's w/fr auto only.
Mtbikbob 09-04-08, 02:55 PM So, we up for this on Saturday the 6th or did it just go away. Uphill sounds like a challenge.
Who's left?
BobO
rat patrol 09-04-08, 07:47 PM Sergio,
I can't make this run, sorry. I'm headed to Virginia for a corporate meeting. I don't think Andrew will be there either. His Jeep is far from done from what I see over on Pirate.
Have fun guys...
Yeap, sounds like this one fizzled out.
