My brother the car guy said he can build me a 1" or 2" shackel lift for my 95 YJ for $5-$20 bucks. Is it really worth it. What are the pros/cons for shackel lift?

Shackles tend to wear the springs out quicker. But they are a nice cheap way to add a couple inches. :D

I'm planning to get a 3" suspension lift in a few months. This is just a quickie :>

your steering wheel wont return to center when you do this lift.
you will also get a bit of bump steer.
i had a 1" shackle lift, and hated it. just sold it on ebay for 5 bucks ;)
