This article http://wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=100437 prompted me to really start considering our options for the California gubernatorial election in 2010.
"The 2010 California gubernatorial election will be held on November 2, 2010, with the primary election on June 8, and will include the races for the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Secretary of State, Attorney General, State Controller, State Treasurer, Superintendent of Public Instruction, and Insurance Commissioner. The winning candidates will serve a four year term from 2011 to 2015. All constitutional office holders are prohibited from serving more than two terms in the same position. The incumbent, Republican Arnold Schwarzenegger, will be prohibited from seeking a third term under California's existing term limit laws. The two-term limit on the office of Governor applies only to terms served after November 6, 1990, thereby allowing former two-time California Governor Jerry Brown to run again, as Brown served his terms from 1975–1983.[1]" source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/California_gubernatorial_election,_2010
