A cool way to dress up your jeep without one of those lame shift knobs.
1. Go to an army surplus store and buy a dummy gernade ( one with nothing in it).
2. Drill a hole in the gernade (where ever you want) slightly smaller than the thread pattern, but leave enough material to tap the hole.
3. get the right size tap and tap the hole.
4. Screw on the gernade and there you go your own personalized shift knob.

At least the word was incorrectly spelled the same way each time it was used. I've seen posts on some boards where the same word will be spelled a different way each time it's used (within the same post)... :D

I have a grenade but no tap..plus the threads on my shifter are crap..some guy put a sparkly shift nob on it before i got it...otherwise i would try it, sounds pretty cool

actually I saw grenade shifter knobs for wranglers on ebay the other day selling for 26.95 plus shipping.
