cbremer 06-24-03, 10:44 AM a home built computer using the best components is far superior to any off-the-shelf or so-called "custom" system (such as a Dell).
And, I built my computer for about $400
AMD > all

carrizojim 06-29-03, 11:02 AM Crash! Error! Software not compatible! My Mac was first shot, the I ran it over with my Jeep, like we should do to all of them (Are you detectin just a hint of anger and frustration directed at the nonsensical operating system I had on mine)
carrizojim 06-29-03, 11:03 AM PEBCAK
it's a matter of preference, as is anything. macs are great for graphics, although pc's have made their way up too. one thing the mac has and will always have is the color-sync perfection. the mac is also better and more precise for drawing. however, if you're looking for global compatibility and a different way of thinking, the pc is the way to go. plus it's alot less expensive!
so, don't knock the mac's too much - cuz i want a pc too! (but then again, i want everything! :) )
so there! you got my .02
and it's better than the blue screen of death.
:yay: :D :P :) :bacon:
