JM Browning ask me to post these. I needed a cord to access the jeep outside the garage and down the driveway a bit. The cord is 30" long and runs my miller 210 with out issue.

Here is a shot of the plug ends. Female end $45 bucks from local electric supply. Male end which fits my optional dryer outlet around $20 bucks {different configerations on each end}. Line was about a buck a foot. Close to $100 bucks for this extension cord.

Thanks Chris! That was really helpful. I think I may forgo the whole 110v welder and go 230/240v after all.

That cord is 4 conductor, #8 - perfect for your 30" application :D

I have one that's about 60' long (all the cable that was on the spool), 4/c #6.

That looks kinda like mine, only longer, and I used twist lock ends (L6-30's), and I think I only used 10/3 SOOW. OK, so it doesn't look like mine....other than it is a black extension cord. :rolleyes:

Actually, all the vacuums in the UK run on 220V - it's their utilization voltage. Their "220" is 347 or 440V, depending.
