time to fabricate a PVC sched 40 spud cannon with which to terrorize the neighbors.

Well that brings up an interesting story concerning Sully. We were using hairspray and a charcoal wand lighter kind of igniter to launch the spud cannon. We were getting easy 350-400 YARDS, we could take down small planes if inclined.
You gotta watch these kids every minute.....

He took the encap off after it didnt ignite and kept flicking the igniter. Well kaboom, charge missed his face but the hot gas going by burned off his eyebrows.
I guess he'll never do that again.:eek:

oh yea...those things can be scary, i know although it wasnt as close a call as sully's. They shoot far tho and its a pretty good BOOM. But when those things dont ignite, it can get interesting.

Thats why you used compressed air. Not quite as flammable.
