I am going to be swapping my axles out on labor day weekend. :)

I am going to be swapping the rear first then the front. I was wondering if it is going to hurt anything if I drive on the old front (D30 3.07) and the new rear (D44 4.56) for about 50 ft, just enough to turn my Jeep around in the driveway?

Also any tips and hints are alwayus welcomed :)

Hmm for some reason I posted this in Long wheelbase. Anyway to move it?

I am currently driving daily with 3.07's and 3.73's. Haven't had time to swap the front gears, so you should be fine, otherwise I'm the one that's in trouble!

just don't put it in 4WD and you'll be fine ;)

just to be 100% safe, it is good to remove the front driveshaft. a few screws will eliminate any possibility of damage ;) you have to yank it out anyway, so there is no extra work involved.
