I have a 2004 Wrangler 4.0 with a 5 speed. Other than a couple neons and strobes, CD player and scratches from going in the mud, its pretty much stoke. I wanna know how to get some power and sound out of the 6. I was thinking K&N intake, A MSD or something similiar ignition, and Chip, Header and glasspack exhaust. Anyones real world experiance with toying with the 4.0 is apprieated. My only problem is that theres not much out yet for model year 2003 and up, so I'm playing the waiting game for the aftermarket to catch up. Till then I'll have to settle with stock.

Try putting a 40 or 50 series flowmaster, Trash the idea of a glass pack, and I dont think they have much on headers for the 04, Your stock airbox flows plenty for the 6, Depending on what your gears are, that is another area you can get more manhood for it...
