It was called the M38/M38A1, if I recall correctly.

But I might be wrong.......

CherokeeFever, The M38/M38A1 were military counterparts for other Jeeps. They are listed in the answers sections.

The CJ-1 was a Civilian Jeep, it had a "nickname".
