I tried and I cried. ;)

They do not work (even following their torque pattern and specs). I have heard others that have had them work but I am going to stick (no pun intended) with RTV.

Thanks for the info ... that makes my job easier! I've been eyeing them for a year now but can't get myself to spend the cash since I have a few tubes of RTV still sitting around :D

Well if any one wants to try them, I have 2 for Dana 44 and one for a Dana 30 I never got around to putting them in. PM me and I will mail them to you instead of throwing them in the trash (where I believe they belong).

Already found a new home for these.
