I have not heard or seen any posts from Tequila Dan.
Does anyone know how he is or his Jeep.
What was the story after we left him????
Some information would be nice

Tammy called his cell phone, but no answer. Hopefully all is well. I think I over heard some one at Rubicon Springs saying they saw a rolled red TJ on a flatbed, I would guess that was him, but I'm not really sure.

i hope he made it out ok... i also hope his insurance will cover the damage. i called my adjuster today to check on mine.
it seems that state farm will cover you once for sure, then put it up for assesment for future off road coverage.
hope his is the same
another point is: isnt the rubicon technically a highway? just un maintained? :)
Yep, unmaintained county hwy.

I spoke to Dan on the phone yesterday...
Unfortunately..( or fortunately) depending on how you look at it...Dans Jeep is totalled. The trailer however is in decent shape, some damage to one of the fenders, but aside from that, ok.
Hes in the process of shopping for another Jeep up there. Hes still up in Placerville/Rubicon area. He figures he may as well buy something up there, so he can tow his trailer home.
His spirits sound good. Im very impressed on how hes handling this.

on the Rubicon...while we were towing his disabled Jeep out. He was not injured.

:( Sorry to see this happen. Tam you mentioned that this happened while his disabled jeep was being towed out:confused:
Do you have any more details? Not to seem insensitive, but I’d like to learn from this accident so I might not be doomed to repeat it.
I whish him luck in finding a new Jeep so that he can be back at it soon.

I think it was more a lesson in communication.
