I know the 4 cyl and 6 cly bolt pattern is differnt. Is the 4 cyl bell housing pattern the same a chevy?

Is it a GM engine? Are all years of the 4 cyl the same bell pattern?


I have a DJ5 that I want to make 4x4 and auto(first 4x4 for a 16 year old), a 4 cly or v6 would allow me to move the engine and trans forward.

Sure I could put Chevy stuff in there, but I would like to stay Jeep,
