anyone here running the new 2.4 hitech 4 banger?
I am reall impressed with it and was wondering if anyone else had it

My brother was running it. I thought his was a turd, but that was probably due to the 35 12.5 16 swampers he put on it along with his 3" BL and 4" suspension lift.

He also water logged it and pretty much tore the crap out of it.

When he first got it, it was pretty peppy for a 4 popper. A lot better than the old 2.5 in the SE I used to have.

It's a derivative of the Dodge Neon motor.... and I believe a lot of the hop up stuff will retrofit. Some of those neon race guys are pushing 300hp. Gotta love over head cams. and late 20th century tech, the old 2.5 (like i run) is stoneage by comparison.

I run mine at 70 plus on the freway, 4.56 gears and 31s and it runs great. I have had several guys tell me hey cannot beleive it is a 4 banger after we wheeled. I really like it, I was just wondering if anyoe else was running it
