Just wondering if anyone has had similar problems. Since I bought my 97 TJ I had the Check Engine light go on whenever I went up the Cajon Pass to the desert or actually anywhere in the desert. I change the map sensor since thats what it said it was. It seemed to me that whenever I was in high winds and the motor got more air that the light came back on and gave me same code. So while I lived in San Bernardino it did not seem to give me problems ever. Well I have since moved to Crestline with no problems but since I installed a Cold Air Intake it came back again. Any takers on how I may be able to cure this problem?

The only time I had a problem like that (98 wrangler 4cyl) was when the gas cap would not seal. Replaced the cap and we've been good ever since.
Otherwise, I'd say check the vent tube from the valve cover to the intake.
