I took out my transmission and noticed that I could move the 3 fingers on the clutch disc cover very easy while it was on the car. I removed the cover and as the tension was released the spring went back to their normal postion, is this supposed to happen or did i get a bad rebuilt disc cover

when you say "disc cover" do you mean pressure plate? IIRC you should not be able to push down on those fingers.
