... well a while back I was having problems with my idle... always ran about 2k r's. At first I thought it was my idle adjuster motor thingy but now I am starting to think otherwise... maybe MAP sensor? It only seems to do it when its hot or raining.... but if its cold outside it runs fine... well except for my occaisional !BOOM! backfire that scares the shit outa the old folk walking hehe... but anyways... possibly the MAP sensor? Any other thoughts?

Yeah thought of that too... but this seems to be weather related???

My Datsun's TPS went bad, but you could tell while driving, couldnt hold a steady throttle or the gas would jump up and down liek I was trying to do the ghetto hop at a stop light....

Well you say weather and I think Oxygen Sensor. Did you ever try that? A bad map sensor wont idle, or atleast mine would not. I would look on ebay for sensors, they are way expensive at AutoZone. I really beleive it might be the O2 sensors
