ok, i finally got my hi lift yesterday. mounted it up after work :D

i made the kit, cost me about $6 in parts from the hardware store. 2 tension clamps for a chain link fence (clamp nicely around the roll bar), 2 5" carriage bolts, a couple of nuts, 2 large washers, and 2 wing nuts. took about 15 minutes to do, and its out of the elements and away from thieves.

what size high lift is that... may i ask ? lol im lookin to order one and i want to put it about the same way u did just love the look of it

It would be a 48" model. The 60" models don't fit inside of a wrangler (in the orientation pictured above).

yep, its the 48" model. also note that you have to remove the bottom plate to mount it this way.

wow that is a cheap mounting kit, good use of the head, My HiLift mounting kit cost me well over 600 dollars
