I broke the driver's side door handle off while trying to open the door. Needless to say, Tammy was less than impressed by my strength and grace.

Is there and aftermarket set of door handles that are made out of metal? Plastic seems a little hokey now that I am in the doghouse. If not, does anyone have a set of inside door handles laying around?

i think he wants the interior handles. i have looked for them also, i have gone through 4 and that's just the driver's door. they do not make a metal interior handle. i wish they would have gotten the hint from all the emails i have sent the various dealers. you can find the plastic ones on ebay for 8-10 dollars. they are all the same. they fit cj, yj and tj. half door and full.
