Anyone tell me about the CA smog Law? I have a '77 and have been told that a vehicle 30 yrs old is no longer reguired to go thru smog. I would like to get rid of the air pump, install headers, carb and intake. I just don't want to wacked by the air nazis.

Sorry, the governator canceled the 30 year old part. Now 1976 and newer are forever tested.

you could pull the stuff off and put it back every other year....:wave:

I thought of that, if I just do the carb upgrade that wouldn't be too much problem. But swapping the exhaust back and forth would be no fun at all. Might just be easier to move...
