im in need of a rear driveshaft for a 2001 Jeep Wrangler TJ 4.0 Inline 6 ......this may sound stupid but mine slung out from under my jeep going 60 and i cant find the damn thing so any help on finding a replacement asap would be greatful..... still dont kno y it slung out both straps r still attatched and one boot to the u Joint is still clamped under one of the straps.................. ANY ANSWERS on where i can get a driveshaft would be great

i found one today thanks for the help but after coming home and actually crawling up under it when i was pissed i found a even bigger problem witch caused the drive shaft to sling some how some way that shaft that comes out the trans... for the driveshaft to slip on BROKE any help on getting this fixed would be great ful if you have any help cuz i dont check the site that often but im on AOL most the time please im me at Lobody93 i have no idea what the part is called

It is called the transfer case out put shaft. This is why people go with Heavy duty Slip yoke eliminator kits. We were on the rubicon trail and this happend to one the guys out there with us. Thank fully we were only a mile into the trail and he was able to find a shaft in Tahoe and finish the trail.
