Hello-

Hope I can post this here. If not, I understand and a moderator can move it or delete it.

I need your help. If you've been our customer, you may know that Daimler Chrysler's licensing company has asked us to stop selling any of the apparel/decals, etc we used to make that had the word "Jeep" in it. (We were not officially licensed by them, and they are slowly but surely making the rounds of web stores doing this.) In addition, they have no desire to license some of our more popular items due to their suggestive nature. (ex. Jeep Girls like it topless and dirty, Silly Boys - Jeeps are for Girls, etc.)

So we no longer produce stuff with the word Jeep in it or feature a true likeness of a Jeep.

But my brain is out of new ideas. We need some fresh brains! So I'd like to ask for suggestions for new apparel/hat designs.

Yes, this is like using our customer's ideas for our profit. But if someone sends me an idea, or posts a winning idea here and we use it, I will send that person 5 items with the design on it. (Your choice of sizes, etc.) So you can own one and give them to your favorite Jeep gals or guys.

yea i know i PMd him to ask for more info. does he just not want the word jeep in it or no jeep vehicles period? i mean i can draw a truck but who likes trucks? lol or a rock buggie like curries new rock rod. something detailed, something simple or something cartoonish?

"He" is a she. (yes, I know Jean can be either, but I like being a girl!)
And we can NOT use the word Jeep, can't show a Jeep grille, and the vehicle has to be generic enough not to be readily thought of as a Jeep.

miguelitojeep97 - beautiful drawings. But this is the stuff we really can't use and be in DC's good graces.

I'm thinking more along the lines of some fun/cool/tongue-in-cheek phrases and then maybe an accompanying graphic.

For instance, we did a "Take it out and Play with it" design. And a "This dirty girl cleans up nicely" design, and the "plays with rocks" "Plays with trucks" etc. designs.

I love that we already have responses on this board. You guys do rock!

thank you very much. I like the first one i posted, did that one not too long ago. sometimes I just get these ideas in my head and it just flows on paper. all the other ones I do in class when im super bored. yup no tracing and im almost never looking at a picture and drawing from it. thanks for your compliments! :)
