I own the Grand Cherokee you see to the left. I love my vehicle and plan to drive it for a long long time..BUT. I had to have the transmission rebuilt when I first got it nearly three years ago because of a bad seal. Then after slipping into a ditch on a wet day and having to spin very very little to get out (its a 2wd, dont laugh I hate it), the transmission clutch plates had absolutely no abrasive left at all. So I rebuilt it AGAIN. Put the full kit from mopar, had a mopar technician do the job. And now, about a year later of normal, on-road driving, no crazy stuff...its slipping and acting crazy again. This 42re is a pile of crap in my opinion and I was just wondering if anyone knew how to make it stronger or an easy way to do a swap with a better transmission.
