Alternator on the Scrambler is sqweeling like a pig. Any suggestions on an appropriate upgrade, or should I just replace with OEM?

In this, any suggestions for water proofing/protection for my tendency for deep water?

thanks

I had a 140amp Powermaster Alt. on my CJ and it worked awesome. You can order them from www.4wd.com for around $150 bucks. Waterproofing your on your own I run in the desert.

I've had the Powermaster for almost 5 years of hard desert/mountain wheelin'. No probs. Paid $150 online.

I forget which rag it is, but i just read about a company called "Mean Green" and they specialize in high amp/ high performance alts and starters.... just a sugestion, I've never seen one in the steel, let alone know about their track record.
