hibachiguy 08-18-07, 06:44 PM On the group buy question...they normally sell MSRP for $69.95 plus some shipping depending on location. If I could get like 10 buyers I would do it for $55.00 plus S7.50 shipping. Best I can do for now. All the buyers would send me an e-mail and make payment to ron@hibachiguy.com straight through Paypal or with a CC through Paypal. Savings of about $12.00-$18.00 or about 20%.
Let me know.

Hey Ron, a couple of questions. How big is the hibachi open and closed? The site mentions that the griddle is made of cast iron, what are the other components made of? Thank you.
hibachiguy 08-20-07, 09:42 AM The unit is made out of stamped steel. It has actually been on the market since 1976, but disappeared about 10 years ago, when the creator of the product sold the company. There is actually a huge fan club in Europe of the product. 100's of thousands have sold in Europe. Open it is 170 square inches of cooking area.

hibachiguy 08-25-07, 09:22 PM A customer reports back:
I had the pleasure of trying out the Son of Hibachi this weekend. Let me say this is the ultimate little grill, especially if you would rather cook with charcoal instead of propane. I set it up with charcoal and lit it per the instructions. It worked marvelously! The coals were ready to cook on in about 10 – 15 minutes. I cooked pork chops, hot dogs, and bratwurst all at the same time. There was plenty of room on the grilling surface to cook for my whole family of 5.
One of the best features for me is that when it is packed up it is nice and thin making it very easy to fit in my Jeep. This is ideal for camping trips and trips to the lake. The snuff out pouch provided also makes it easy to handle when hot and serves as a “no mess” packing solution for the back of your vehicle.
I give the Son of Hibachi a “two thumbs up”!
