Good Black Diamond trail. Starts off easy but ends on a rocky, tippy ledge road that zig-zags its way down to the flats. Have lunch by the stream and then climb your way back out. Short side trail runs up to a flat top that provide great views of Johnson Valley.

3N03A can be found in the San Bernardino National Forest near Big Bear Lake. 3N03A is available to street legal vehicles only.
The US Forest Service rates this trail a black diamond most difficult route. You can expect to encounter steep rocky off camber sections. Elevation ranges from 6100' down to 4800'. There is a trail that runs from Horsethief Flat down to Johnson Valley on BLM land.
