  • Website to locate repeaters

Here's a website to help locate repeaters in a given area. You type in the distance, and the city you are intersted in.

Try it and post up your opinion of this site!

They updated the url to: http://www.amateur-radio.net/rptr/

I know this is an old post but, Do you have to access this site through something else? I get a "you do not have permission to access site" when I try the link.

I can't get into it either, I don't know what happened to it. I even had couple of email exchanges with the admistrator recently.

        Strange...

If you have an Android phone, download "RepeaterBook" app. Uses GPS to locate repeaters nearby and will supply offset and tone. I use it a good bit when traveling without Chirp and a cable.
