    Southeast entrance


    It is always a good idea to call the ranger station before heading in to the forest and get a current conditions report. Idyllwild Ranger Station (909) 382-2921

    That is a pretty good trail. I use it for the off-road portion of drivers training for my military students. We take it from the behind the Cranston station and go up to 6S13 by Lake Hemet. 23 miles in length and about 3500-4000ft in elevation change
