  • Trail Run: Dawn 'O Day Cyn, White Mtn Winter Trek 2[23/2013

Since it won't be long now until Dawn 'O Day Cyn Trail (3N14A)will be closed forever, I wanted to run it one last time. Since it's an easy trail and wouldn't take long, I wanted to include White Mtn. also - 3N17. So if your up for a winter run let's go! If there's deep snow we'll have to skip 3N17A and run alternate trails.

We'll meet at Hwy 18 & High Rd at 9:00 AM.

We'll head up Grapevine Canyon (4N16) to get into the mountains

Its as much fun getting dirty as it is being dirty in a Jeep!

Yep, I got atleast 14 inches (I need a snowblower tired of shoveling) in front yard this morning and suppose to get more tomorrow/tonight. Should be a good run, hope I get JP fixed before Saturday. If not you guys have a great time.

Okay folks here's the latest weather forecast:

                              http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick...06387519836426

This is the forecast for the intersection of Grapevine Cyn Rd and Coxey Truck Trail.

Dress for cold weather, such as thermals, good insulated boots and well, you know what to do!

Looking out my sliding glass door this morning it looks like there's going to be a LOT of snow up there.
