    Problem fixed now.

I had a high steer put on at an unnamed shop. I drove to Moab and the steering kept getting looser, broke some shocks and no one could find the problem. I got back and the shop discovered that the mechanic did not tighten the nuts or use lockiight. The owner fixed the problem himself and had a long talk with the mechanic. Went to Moab again and the weld from the high steer to the axle sheared on Cliff Hanger. I got some great help from the Discount Tire guys that were also on the trail and was able to get back to Moab. The weld was on the surface only and there was no penetration. I had it welded in Moab but the handling on the way back to Los Angeles was so bad the trip back to sixteen hours. I went back to the shop and talked to the owner - no yelling. The owner had already fired that guy and made good on getting the alignment back to where it should be.

We will be going to the Jeep Beach West at Oceano Dunes this weekend to get a freeway run and some offroading.

We will go to Moab and Ouray in September.
