Hey all!
I'm just getting back from running the Rubicon, but have decided to go back one more time this year for a friend's birthday. He does a lot for the trails up there and is holding a B-day/Clean up Bash. Looks like some Friends of the Rubicon will be there, as well as Teraflex and Matt Hall (Ultra 4) just confirmed today as well.. a bunch of locals and non-locals are coming out for this one..everything from semibuilt rigs to serious buggys. Day runs/night runs.
I'm leaving early Friday Sept 5th and will come home Sunday afternoon.
Anyone interested, let me know.
And BTW....we're running Big Bear Aug 22-24th..camping at Holcomb Valley. Not running a strict schedule to a trailhead at this point. Not sure where we want to start either...it's a leisurely run Saturday on any of the difficult trails. JB, Holcomb, Dishpan, Gold Mtn. If interested, you'd need to meet us at camp by 10am. We'll be at camp Friday by 630pm if you want to camp. We'll break camp Sunday afternoon sometime..
