Greetings Jeepers,..My 2001 TJ had sat for about five years as the motor was bad. I have replaced it with a 4.0 out of a 2005 Rubicon and the motor runs great. However, something has happened to the trans (it worked when it was parked) it engaged forward and back a few times and after putting fluid in it because it was low. Now it does nothing in Drive or Reverse either one. Fluid level has been checked several times in neutral at idle and is proper. Is there something else that could create this situation ? Fluid looks good as well. Anyone have a 32RH trans laying around for a good price ?

There are times mine will sit for a week or two and I have the same problem. I was told to put the transmission in neutral and let it idle for about 30 seconds. Does the trick. You might give that a try.
