Id guess you have an hr or more drive from El Cajon.

Lets meet 9:00 at In Ko Pa exit south side. Theres lot of trails in that area and some of the old stage trail also.

Vern, bring back a picture with your Jeep on that trail, then someone (maybe Crash!?) can photochop a tow line to it....BTW, what is that open touring car? a REO? a Pierce Arrow????

Nice overlay. Good work. It looks like there's a car or something going up the trail in the background. That's probably what the two guys are looking at. Saying to each other “That dude rocks”
              Check out .

I've been up there a few times recently and would love to go again but already got plans for upper Coyote Canyon and Horse Canyon.

Be sure to hit this obstacle:

I'll be looking forward to seeing pics!

                  Maxwell,

Table Mountain is about 25 miles west of El Centro on Hwy 8. This is just north of Hwy 8 and the Mexico border. 180 - 200 miles from Apple Valley?

I found that obstacle, John. It took my breath in. Not sure I would attempt it. Now Vern, on the other hand, seeing where and what he is capable of, would probably walk up it like it was paved.
9:00 at In co pah Tower south exit, right at the entrance to Elliot sounds good. Can't miss me, White jeep, "MY JEEP ROCKS" banner over the windshield.
Max,.... ah... maybe about 3 hours south from Apple Valley. A long ways. South on 15 to interstate 8, east a long ways... just before you drop down into the desert is In Co Pah. Or east out of Apple Valley to the hiway that takes you to 10. East to the 86 south. South to Interstate 8, west on 8 to the top of the first climb out of the desert is where you find In Co Pah desert view tower.
Vern I'll p.m. over my cell phone number. I won't be accessing this website again before I leave, so a reply here would be useless.

                    Thanks all,
                    BobO

                      Hey Russ,
The one pic I'm still trying to match up is this one. I'm close..This would make a cool overlay if I can get the spot..The car? I dont know. This would be pre 1915
