I really enjoy photography and taking pictures of landscapes, macros, and historic relics, just to name a few. I was hoping that others that enjoy this hobby could show off some pictures of what they like to photograph. I’ll start with a few of my favorites.

i am using a canon 10D
the camera body is dated a bit, but the lenses is where it's at.
i am shooting with:
canon 24-70 F2.8 L
canon 100-400 L
canon 100mm f2.8 macro
sigma 70-200 f2.8

these are all pretty nice lenses.

this is in the Huntington Lake area.
it is about 4.5 miles in, and 9000' up. there are 2 ways to get there... by mule or on foot.

my family goes up there once a year and ventures in to some hot pools, and some good trout fishing.
there are more pictures at the bottom of this link.

here is a link to the area, and how the fancy people get in to this area.
we do it on foot, but depending on the shape of your wallet, there are other ways to get in and experience the hot pools, and ponds. it is pretty far out there.

you have to take a ferry across a lake before you can even begin the hike. this keeps out the riff raff.
