  • Dauntless V6 distributor

    okguys, here goes

    my 1970 cj6 has a 225 v6
and here lies the problem, the distributor was made by presolite (or some company close to thatr name) and it is famous for having bad bearings, I have read several places to change it out to the delco distributor but have never seen the part number for that thing. Anyway, if anyone here has any experience with the Dauntless v6, could you please give up distributor tech, I need it bad.

I don't have your answer, but I can refer you to some people that are familiar with the Dauntless. Post your question here:

I'm sure someone there can help you.
    Good luck.

the most commone Delco dist used in the V6 is P/N 1110376
whatever you get, make sure it's for an odd-fire V6.

I tell you that you can tell by just looking, if the wire spacing is even, then it is an oddfire, if the y are stagered, it is an even fire.

thanks for the number, I will look it up
