The winter rains of 04-05 have incredibly changed the scenery out at the dunes. Dry lakes are now filled with water and wildflowers blanket the ground.

We headed out Saturday morning and although it was a bit hazy, the weather was prefect.

Kaffa and Sarah headed out in the Jeeps while everyone else lead on dirtbikes and quads. We took the kids out to the little dunes that you pass on the way in.

We heard from another group that the north pole had been vandalized, but we didn't get a chance to head out and see for ourselves.

The photos near the end are from the drive south on the 15 from Baker.
