It's time to get Sledged! It was a chilly day at Johnson Valley
but the trek went on.  A
whole lot of carnage and a whole lot of extreme Jeeps made this
"rookie run" totally rock! Thanks guys!

From the man himself: "[I got a] busted outer shaft, u-joint,
and deformed u-joint ears on the innershaft of the front axle. Needless
to say, that busted front axle made driving (and winching myself
up some obstacles much of the time to avoid breaking the other side
of the front axle) the final 3/4 of Sledgehammer a real challenge."
And he wasn't kiddin' about winching up the whole entire trail. |
