Pumpkin Eater Trail

Stoddard Valley OHV Area, Southern California

Length: Less than a mile
Time to complete: 1+ hours, depending on vehicles/drivers

Pumpkin Eater surely lives up to its name. Low-clearance vehicles not recommended. There's a six-foot+ waterfall near the beginning of the trail which may require a winch.

There are many adjacent trails to Pumpkin Eater and an entire day can easily be spent in the area. Dry camping is allowed anywhere within the OHV area.

The trail is easily accessible from Stoddard Wells road via 247 from the north, or Dale Evans Parkway in Apple Valley.
