With a newly rented jeep in our possession, we followed the Uncompagre River along Mineral Creek Trail, part of the Alpine Loop. The trail was easy by our standards, even in the stock Rubicon, and very scenic.

We joined up with JeepBBS for another Rookie Run. Thirteen jeeps headed into the canyon and thirteen jeeps came out. It was a great day with great weather and only minor damages in the end.
