Jeeps that got ROCKED!

Share your stuck Jeep story – from rollovers to body damage and everything in between – although they're not always funny at the time, most of the time they are afterward! So get out your cameras, pens, notebooks, text editors or whatever floats your boat and post your favorites.

Please be sure to include a short story and a photo to be considered for the stuck page.

: Having fun in Calico with some Land Rovers, I decided to take the hard way up and over these rocks. I had attempted these before, but failed miserably. I didnt do so will this time either.

: Stuck on a rock on the Rubicon Trail – it's also proof that a stock Rubicon can make it off the trail with minimal damage! (Bent fenders don't count when your spotter runs you into a rock!)

goodtimes: The Dirt Devils were going to move that rock....so I thought I would help them out some. I moved it the wrong direction after I used it in a feeble attempt at making my own custom belly up pan. I managed to push the belly pan up about 3". BlkTJ: from what I remember it was all my fault... had I only been watching my spotter it would have never happened. Rubicon Trail Summer 2003. Nailer341: If i had only been watching my spotter this wouldn't have happened ... This is a result of the flop, among other things. Last Chance Canyon, California.
JeepGal: I NEVER get stuck ... Unless of course, you count the "stop to pose, lose momentum and slide off the rock" stuck....
Here's the famous photo.
86JeepXJ: It sat in 8 feet of rushing water overnight when I was stupid and got stuck in a creek crossing that turned into a mad river within an hour after a huge storm broke out. Rick: Doran Canyon, Calico. This is the last place I expected to hit a bunch of rocks – while backing down the obstacle I couldn't pass over!

IGoFshn: The famous Doran Canyon – the corner buster! This little owchie happend on that first big mean rock.

More fun at Doran's entrance!

Dishpan Springs Driver Error: He was being towed by a Pinzgauer and they went high, he stayed low, long story short, yanked him up on the high spot with his right side so his drivers side was in the lowest spot....rolled over nicely. Good thing the tow truck couldn't make it back there...we might have been pulling the tow truck out too.

Trailbst: Playing on a BIG rock, I didn't see a dip in the grass. The front right went down, rear left came up, next thing I know, I'm on my side.

Goodtimes: Upper Ajax (central AZ) I approached this obstacle in such a fashion that the sun was in my eyes, through a dirty, bug-encrusted windshield, rendering me basically blind. A normal human being would stop and look where they were going, but not me. I was intending to keep my drivers side tires on those 2 large rocks that are just to the left of the drivers tires, but I slid off of them. I fell about 16 inches onto the drivers side rock slider, and the belly pan on the passenger side.
